Our fight with Covid-19 is spiritual warfare. We cannot fight this battle with conventional means, or the legal system---our foe is not a flatlander enemy---he is armed with dark craft from below. Revelation 13: 2 says he (our foe) is powered by the dragon. His words and mechanisms are designed to kill through his depopulation schemes; to steal away our souls through his transhumanism technology geared to dehumanize us. He intends to destroy our courage, hope and peace, by stealing away our jobs, our schools, and by hijacking /altering our DNA, and taking ownership (John 10:10).
Does the above narrative sound like a scary macabre plot from a sci-fi horror movie? Yes, and more so because our present reality is not a movie, it’s real and chilling to the bone. A Hollywood movie could not match the evil machinations being perpetrated against humanity in this very hour by the invisible foe behind the pandemic. But the amazing aspect of our warfare with Covid-19 is that it has already been scripted in an ancient tome written more than 2090 years ago, giving us warning since long ago.
A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN APPEARS ON THE CANVAS OF ETERNITY
Revelation chapter 12 captures this cosmic battle with such power and detail it’ll take your breath away. A beautiful pregnant woman appears on the canvas of eternity…she is about to give birth to a child that is destined to rule the nations of the world. The radiant wonder of the woman is rudely contrasted by a ghastly red dragon whose intention is to destroy the child…persecute the woman…and to make war on the remnant of her seed. We who believe in God and his Son Jesus are the remnant of the seed of the heavenly woman, and the dragon cannot stand the thought of her child (Jesus) ruling the nations of the world.
THE DRAGON WARS AGAINST US THROUGH CORONAVIRUS
This transcendent prophetic narrative has had several fulfillments, the first occurring in 1st century Bethlehem of Judea when King Herod tried to eradicate the infant Messiah by killing all the young children around Bethlehem. And today in 2020 we’re seeing what is probably the final fulfillment of the Revelation prophecy, namely the persecution of the woman and the warfare being waged on the remnant of her seed. And who is the woman? It is not just Mary of Joseph---all who have through out the ages believed in God and his Son Jesus, conform part of the heavenly woman. In 2020, we, the remnant of the woman’s seed and non-believers alike will come under fire as the dragon makes war against us through the present Coronavirus pandemic.
CORONAVIRUS ORIGIN HIDDEN UNDER VEIL OF DECEPTION
Today we are all under great physical, emotional, and spiritual duress as we undergo the first wave of the Covid-19; a time when we’re being deprived of our homes, our jobs, our education, our freedom and autonomy. We’re seeing that the weapons of our foe are formidable indeed with all that he’s throwing at us throughout this global crisis. And one of his biggest weapons is deception. “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceived the whole world, he was cast into the world…(Revelation 12:9)” The true origin of the Coronavirus was hidden under a veil of deception; they tried to make us believe the deadly virus was a natural occurrence when in fact there was nothing natural about it---it was engineered in a level-4 lab employing ‘gain of access’ procedures to hatch a synthetic lethal virus. Even the Coronavirus infection and death stats have been blown way out of proportion, again, a deception to give credence and a green light to shut down our system, give stay at home orders, and rob us of our right of work and mobility.
ARE WE DOOMED TO DEFEAT?
Not at all. Even though the dragon has been cast down to the planet and has great wrath against us---we’re going to kick butt, his butt! We not only have salvation in Jesus, but we also have awesome power. Revelation 12:11 says we’re going to defeat our foe, the dragon, by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. These are our biggest and baddest weapons against the dragon and his Antichrist and all his bit-players and all their bio-tech paraphernalia.
On the cross Jesus shed his blood as he gave his life for humanity. Through his shed blood he defeated the works of the dragon…and he destroyed the one who has the power of death, the Devil.
Those who follow God will not be deceived by the underlying falsities behind the pandemic crisis and will speak a clear and strong testimony of the true words of God. Under the bright light of God’s truth, no hidden falsities, lies or deception can survive. And this is how we’re going to overcome our present-day Coronavirus foe, through the blood of Jesus and by exposing the works of darkness with the word of our testimony.
IN THE END HUMANITY WILL FALL INTO ONE OF TWO CATEGORIES
In these days of Covid-19 those that know God will stand strong in spite of the loss of some things and disdain from society, and they’ll refuse to submit to the RNA vaccines with their bio-tech attachments, which are nothing less than the mark of the beast in disguise. And those who are still undecided about what to do---this will be their opportunity to choose wisely for God and refuse the mark. In the end all humanity will fall into one of two categories: those who worship the beast, his mark and his image, and those that preferring to have their names written in the book of life, reject the mark of the beast in whatever form it comes.
Dear God, we pray that you will give us
resolve, strength, valor, and faith to stand up
for the truths you have revealed to us regarding
the Coronavirus.
We are all under fire from this Covid-19
phantom and many of us are suffering loss of
our jobs, freedom of mobility with stay in place
orders, and bombarded daily with discouraging
news that depict ever growing Covid-19 infection
and death counts, disparaging economic downfalls,
evicted notices for not paying rent, and on top of
that, news of a deadlier 2nd Covid-19 wave that is
soon to strike.
In this great battle all we have is you Jesus, but
I know that you are sufficient. You have shown us
that in this battle the weapons of our warfare are not
physical but spiritual, for we fight not against people
and things, but against principalities, against the rulers
of the darkness of this world and the hidden forces of
evil (Ephesians 6:12).
Bless and protect our families and friends during
this time and supply all our needs according to your
riches in heaven.
